Bryan Singer To Direct "Battlestar Galactica"

Bryan Singer will be directing and producing a feature version of "Battlestar Galactica, Singer apparently has liked the "Battlestar Galactica" franchise and thought about relaunching it into a TV series right after he directed the original "X-Men."

"The lesson I learned on `X-Men' is to have a healthy respect for the fan base of sci-fi fantasy franchises, and I'm confident that the `Galactica' brand is a sleeping giant. It was a show I watched during its initial run, from the pilot to the final episode. The essence and the brand name is quite potent in a climate where there's a great deficit of scifi programming."

Remember this? The intro to the 1978 T.V. show.

New Iron Man 2 Pics Online put up 2 part article called Iron Man 2 Set Visit: Part One & Two. Marvel News had a chance to revisit Tony's workshop on the set where they were required to wear padded slippers to walk around. They were also lucky enough to witness two scenes being filmed for "Iron Man 2." I put some highlights below. Iron Man 2 is less than 10 months away. Movie will be released May 7, 2010.

The first scene depicted Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) looking down at a scale model of the Stark Expo, which closely resembles the New York World's Fair Pavilion. This included a Unisphere at the center of the convention. As the camera panned from the level of the model towards Tony looking inquisitive at the Stark Expo, he spoke to himself, "The key to the future is...where?"

The second scene we saw featured a much more animated Tony, as he interacted with Jarvis in his workshop. The sequence required Tony to utilize the holographic-floor as he paced around the workshop to investigate further into the main pavilion of the Stark Expo. Prior to filming the sequence, we saw Downey speak with the post-production director regarding the ideal gestures and motions to best interact with the planned projected images.

Heath Ledger's Music Video: Skinned Humans, Cigar-Chomping Whales

Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock revealed that Heath Ledger had plans to shoot a video for one of the band’s songs “King Rat,” using animation from Ledger’s friend Terry Gilliam but didn't get a chance to finish. The plot: Whales hunt and poach humans for food, turning the tables on what the actor saw as animal cruelty off the coast of Australia. The video was never completed. The actor died several months later while shooting Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

If it is true, this is what I like to call a "no-brainer". The movie is rumored to be called My Week With Marilyn and be based on the diary of someone named Colin Clark, an employee of Laurence Olivier who was put in charge of keeping an eye on Marilyn while in London during 1957.

Behind (500) DAYS: "This Is Not a Love Story"

Once the video stops the more parts of the interview show up. I had a chance to go to an advanced screening of this movie and I must say, I was really impressed. Marc Webb did an amazing job as well as Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. Geoffrey Arend was refreshingly funny too.

Ben Stiller Moves Red Hour To Fox And Shows His "Appreciation"

Ben Stiller moves his Red Hour Productions over to FOX and makes a funny video about it. Still not sure if it was supposed to be released but I think it probably was. At any rate he doesn't seem to be to happy about it. Stiller says some pretty funny stuff like, “Tom Rothman is so far up my ass, he’d probably have to send Jim Cameron up there with one of his 3-D underwater cameras to pull him out.”
